And on Wednesday we got to go here for free:
I have been a little hesitant taking Chase (who hasn't been since he was 1 and 1/2, so doesn't remember it). because Chase is scared of EVERYTHING. especially lately. But he did great. The only crying incident (other than arriving there and seeing all of the characters, who freaked him out) was on the Jungle Cruise, when they shot the gun. Other than that, the day was a total success. So much we upgraded to season passes. Something I swore I would never do. So for mostly family, and the other few who care, here are some pics of our day.
I'm sorry, but do babies get cuter than this? And by the way, she was an angel.
Grandma Ann came with us. We even talked her into upgrading to a season pass. Hurray!
I believe I have already mentioned that Chase is obsessed with Peter Pan. OBSESSED. He pretends he is either peter pan or captain hook all day. He uses a hanger for his hook and a spatula for a sword. You can imagine his delight when we presented him with this upgrade on our way out. It was like Christmas morning (by the way, together these only cost $8. I was expecting to fork out at least $20 at "disneyland" prices)
Probably my favorite story of the day was while we were on our way out to the parking lot. Chase encountered another boy about his age with the same sword. Before we knew it they both unsheathed (is that the right word?) their swords and were having a full blown sword fight. Chase declared "I am captain Hook!" The other boy declared "I am pirate of the Caribbean!". You gotta love little boys.

i love the look on chase's face on the carousel. i'm glad he had fun and wasn't too scared. and of course you know i love the sword-fighting story. we need to see a picture of peter pan all dressed up in his green outfit.

i want a season pass so bad now! im so jealous that you went i wish i was there. i love the stories of chase pretending to be peter pan. ha he is so cute.
