March...in all its glory

What is not to love about March??

First, we celebrate 2 birthdays in March...and we love birthdays.

Second, the weather. perfection.

Third, March Madness. I am a little obsessed. Although after Kansas and Syrucuse lost I was pretty much done.

And last, but definitely not least, Dodger Spring Training. That is right, our 2nd annual trip.

Our trip did get off to a bit of a shaky start. We rented a house back in the beginning of February. With little kids, hotels are the pits...so we were so excited to have a house to hang in for the weekend. We arrived in AZ at our rental house past midnight Thurs night, to find the property manager there waiting for us. Turns out one of the owners let their friends stay there for the weekend, without checking with the property managers. And so, they booked us a couple of rooms at the Hilton...free of charge. It turned out to be not so bad, especially with the free of charge part.

Friday game day. Dodgers lose, but we did see a HR by Manny.

Seats behind homeplate. Is this the cutest Dodger fan you've ever seen...

Mia fell asleep with Grandpa.

Apparently, he has the magic touch. Here was Chase when we went last year:

Ball signed by Joe Torre. (Thanks to Leigh) We also got Tommy Lasorda's John Hancock (even though Matt was yelled at by Tommy for using Chase to get the autograph...but come on, isn't that what kids are for?)

Saturday game day. Dodgers win.
Seats on the lawn. Oh how I wish Dodger stadium had lawn seats.

Free face painting.

Happy the Petersons came the same weekend.

And here's to a World Series win in 2010.
