my sweet Mia has been somewhat neglected on my blog lately. Maybe that is because she doesn't give me any trouble. Well this little cutie pie turned 8 months old yesterday (gasp!). I feel like the time has flown by, but at the same time I can't quite remember what our family was like before her. She is such a sweet baby, so in honor of her 8 month day, I thought I would highlight what is going on with her.

- She has such a great temperment and is really a happy girl. Sit her down and give her a couple of toys, and she is usually entertained (especially if she has Chase to watch too).
- JUST TODAY I noticed she broke her first tooth on the bottom.
- She loves her brother Chase and laughs at any silly thing he does.
- She loves when her Daddy comes home. She gets a huge smile on her face and stares at him until he gives her attention.
- She loves the bath tub. She gets a foam letter in each hand and stares at the other toys like she wants to pick up something else, but doesn't dare let go of one of her letters. And don't dare take them away from her when you get her out of the tub.
- She loves sleeping on her tummy. 90% of the time when I go to check on her for nap/bedtime, she has rolled over to her tummy.
- She goes down like a dream for naps and bedtime. Give her her pacifier and blanket and I don't hear a peep out of her (something that took MUCH longer to achieve with Chase)
- She is becoming somewhat attached to her pacifier. If there happens to be one mixed in with toys, she takes no time to find it and get it into her mouth.
- She is somewhat of a picky eater. Food you wouldn't expect she is not a fan of (i.e. applesauce, peaches) and spits it out as soon as the spoon reaches her mouth.
- She gets really excited when we sing her the "Mamma Mia" song
- She gives the best smiles and is a JOY to have in our family.
