And what do you know, as Matt was taking the video of Dad not cheering, Manny hit a home run on the first pitch. So here is the after shot of Manny running the bases and us cheering (darn Matt for getting my dorky whistle on video, although I can whistle REALLY loud, so although I look dorky, it is pretty awesome).

We love Manny
you don't want him Boston? we welcome him with open arms. and he is earning every dime of that $0 salary we are paying him. we lucked out that we already had tickets to the game last night, before even knowing about Manny Ramirez being traded to the Dodgers. The first time Manny stepped up to the plate, everyone was cheering like crazy. My Dad, on the other hand, said he would not cheer for Manny at all until he delivered. Matt attempted to take a picture of my Dad's serious face when Manny stepped up (he accidently did a video instead of a picture).

did you miss the part where i said "last night"? it was saturday night.
um, yeah we lucked out and had tickets also. Unfortunately we got to the game starving so i was in line waiting to buy food. although cool, it wasn't the real deal!!! sat night at the ball game renewed my love for being at the ball park. can't wait to get out there again!!!
i love that your last three posts are about the dodgers! the name of your blog does really ring true. im glad you guys had fun and cheered loud! you had great seats too.
i like how i'm holding ella's ears because she was so sick and the stadium was so loud. and you look SOOO cute doing that whistle.

Hey Matt, Glad you checked out our blog! We would love to see your family when you come to Odgen. Mark works in Odgen and we live about 30 min North. Kristy got her BA at BYU and yes she is a lot nicer now! ;) We added you to ours, so we can keep in touch with family. Even though we left Cali, still a Dodger Fan!! I guess Manny showed me huh? I will now cheer for him as he approaches the plate, since he continues to earn his salary.
