we finally made it out to Seattle last week to see our very-missed-friends, the Denkes. we decided to squeeze in one last trip while we still had to only pay for 2 airplane tickets.
the boys followed these ducks around this whole park. it was cute, even if we had to clean duck poop off their shoes.
at the science museum. chase loved the butterfly atrium.
we ate lots of great food (ruining the Denke's healthy diet), had some very late game nights, and had a great time. the only hiccup was that Chase got the stomach flu Saturday morning and probably puked 15 times over a 3 day period. We left for the airport Sunday night to discover our flight was 3 hours delayed (not leaving until after 10pm) after which the stomach flu decided to hit Matt at the worst time. He spent the 3 hour delay in the airport bathroom, and the 2 and a half hour flight in the airplane bathroom, and it was my first time seeing someone actually use the little puke bags during take off. THANK GOODNESS Chase did not puke on the plane also. that would have been a disaster. and thank goodness i somehow missed getting the bug. and thank goodness we didn't pass it on to any of the Denkes, otherwise they likely would never invite us back. and we want to go back.

i LOVE chase's BYU shirt!!! it looks great on him. im glad you didnt go into detail about the puking like you did to me on the phone. and kelly thinks you need to cut chases hair.
woops...this is leigh
He is getting so big Laura. When are you due? Seattle looks like fun. It does not look like it rained on you. see you soon.
just so you know, I'm totally bummed because you were right by us. 2.5 hours away, to be exact. Maybe three, depending on where you were. I might be mad at you for a minute because you didn't even let us know.
Seattle is such a cool city!
How fun to spend time with friends there!
I love the look of wonder on Chase observing that butterfly!
First of all, puke or no puke, you are ALWAYS welcome back anytime. We miss you and love too much to let a silly thing like puke and diarrhea get in the way. 2nd, love the pictures and thanks for taking them for us since we forgot our camera. 3rd, we love you and already miss you. Thanks for coming, we had SO much fun! xoxo
That's awesome you guys were able to make that trip. I bet you had a blast! Sorry about the flu bug though-that's a bummer. Very smart planning while you only have 2 tickets to buy-now we just leave Kimball behind when we're heading to Utah. Someone's got to stay behind, right? j/k.
