Possibly my favorite type of vacation is a staycation. This usually happens when my sister is visiting and I forego any and all usual responsibilities and enjoy hanging out and doing fun stuff everyday...and then can put my kids and self in our own beds every night. It is pretty great. And I get to spend time with my most favorite people in the world.
our week went something like this:
swimming
bowling
swimming
dodger game
swimming
kidspace museum
swimming
hike to Hollywood sign
swimming
the zoo
swimming
beach
swimming
movies
swimming
and only 1 trip to emergency room for the whole week (poor drewbie for stitches from diving board incident)
I am in post staycation depression. As is Chase. He has told me approximately 122 times that he misses his cousins. Last night he told me he wished they were his friends, not his cousins. When I asked him why he said because friends live close to you.

one, how is this really any different than your normal life? cause im pretty sure you still do fun stuff everyday. two, if you are gonna blog about this before me at least give me some photo taking cred!! i am HIGHLY offended that i got no shout out for taking all of those pictures and are basically giving credit for yourself.
leigh you are such a baby. i totally knew you were going to complain. i didn't take credit anyway...i usually don't say who took every picture.
